LEE A. SCOTT II
Lee Scott is a passionate speaker, leadership thinker, and creative whose life mission is to inspire, equip & empower individuals to live up to their fullest potential. Lee believes that every person has a capacity for leadership. He believes that everyone can influence the world around them. With over five years of leadership experience and bachelor’s & master’s degrees in leadership, Lee’s unique & authentic perspective will motivate others to achieve their goals & take control of their dreams.
Lee serves as an assistant director and counselor at Get2College, a program of the Woodward Hines Education Foundation. He helps students with college planning, financial aid and academic/career advising. Lee is the owner & Principal Coach at Lee Scott Consulting LLC, where he focuses on leadership coaching, staff/team development, interviewing, and media content creation.
He is a member of Jackson Public School’s Board of Trustees and serves as president of the Mississippi Urban League’s Young Professionals. Lee was a part of the inaugural cohort for the Change Collective through Civic Nation in partnership with the Obama Foundation and an alum of the New Leaders Council’s Oklahoma chapter. For six years, Lee was the host of a podcast called “Leading with Lee” where he shares about leadership, life, and legacy.
Lastly and more importantly, He is married to his best friend, Amanda Rio Branco Scott. They have a black Labrador named Luna & are expecting their first child this winter.
